TEACHER BIO
Lisa has a Bachelors degree in Music Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and has been teaching for almost 20 years.  Her passion for music began at age 5 when she began piano lessons and this love for music has never waned.  She has spent over 14 years involved in music ministry, 5 of which were spent on a church staff as the full-time Music Director.  She is currently a member of the worship team at Radiant Church in Surprise, AZ, don't hesitate to say hi and ask questions if you see her at church!

Lisa specializes in individualized music instruction that focuses on the student's specific learning style.  While she has taught students of all ages, her special joy is teaching children.  She employs a number of methods to appeal to the younger beginner.  This includes theory games, positive reinforcement, stickers, etc... the goal is to make learning fun while striving for excellence!  Older students generally have a specific goal in mind when seeking out music instruction, so Lisa creates a learning plan with those goals in mind.

Lisa teaches beginning to intermediate piano/keyboard, beginning voice, sight-singing, ear training, dictation, fundamental theory, play-by-ear and chording out of her home in Surprise, AZ.

TEACHER BIO
Jim has been playing both acoustic and electric guitar for more than 35 years. He was a member of several rock bands and toured with the USO in 1978. Numerous worship teams in California and Arizona have recruited Jim to play. He is currently on staff with Radiant Church in Surprise, AZ where you can hear him play every weekend. Please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself anytime.

Jim specializes in individualized music instruction that focuses on the student's specific learning style and interests. His passion for teaching the joys of music to his students, young and old alike, are evident in his personal investment in the individual student. He loves the enthusiasm of beginners, maintaining an encouraging and upbeat environment with each lesson. Jim's desire is to develop the individual student in the direction he or she may want to grow, whether it is rhythm acoustic or electric lead. Older students will be enriched by Jim's fun and relaxed instruction style. Jim's philosophy is "You're never too young or old to pursue your passion! And I'm living proof!"
